MS Technical Architect
Essentially the objective of the role is to oversee the implementation by a third party and the functional solution architecture for a MS solution.
- Effective Date and Duration: Immediately/ASAP. Initial contact is until June with very likely extension of another 6 - 12 months
- Interview Process: First interview with EY. Second interview to be followed with client.
- End Customer: Based in Cape Town.
- Resource Location: Remote with ability to work from EY in JHB. Hybrid model*. See below.
- Travel: There may be occasional visits to Cape Town required. These will be arranged and paid for by EY.
*The work for the customer so far has been hybrid - some online and some in person and on site in Cape Town. The Johannesburg resources meet once a week at the EY Johannesburg and fly down for workshops when required to Cape Town, all depends on the Program manager and Lead Solution architect.
Provide oversight and guidance on deliverables. Preferably as an on prem person, but if not as a service on demand.
That includes quality and oversight for the deliverables over the lifespan of the project, and knowledge transfer to the internal team, along with best in practice roll out knowledge and guidance

The main goal of this project is to provide Core Productivity Applications and Back-end and Service Management Systems thereby supporting the following:
- Improve employee productivity
- Improve remote work capabilities
- Improve audits and controls
- Improve the flow of information in the organization
- Increase access, knowledge sharing and collaboration
The key objective is to contribute to productivity gains, leveraging the Clients technology investment to maximize staff performance for efficient and effective citywide service delivery.
