Day to day of the role:
  • Teach mathematics across all key stages, including A-level.
  • Engage and inspire students in the subject, fostering a love for mathematics.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum planning.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, sharing best practices and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Support the school’s ethos of helping students become well-rounded, independent, and responsible individuals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A strong academic background in mathematics.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Ability to teach mathematics up to A-level; the potential to teach A-Level Further Mathematics is advantageous.
  • Applications from suitably qualified Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and more experienced teachers are welcome.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
