Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Are you an experienced HR professional with a background in manufacturing? We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team at a leading manufacturing company near Halifax.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all HR queries.

* Manage recruitment, performance issues, and employee relations.

* Provide full case management support to managers on employee relations (ER) cases.

* Oversee day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with HR best practices and legislation.

* Support managers in handling performance management and disciplinary processes.

* Act as a key HR advisor on employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations issues.

* Experience working in a unionised environment is highly desirable.

Key Requirements:

* CIPD Level 3 qualification (Level 5 preferred).

* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.

* Solid knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and legislation.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
