Area to be covered: Greater London

Remuneration: £55,000-£60,000 + 25%-40% Bonus/ Commission possible with accelerators for over target performance

The role of the Key Account Manager - Plumbing Heating & Drainage will involve:

* Field sales role promoting a distributed range of commercial heating, plumbing & drainage solutions

* Key account management role, responsible for approx. 15 tier one mechanical contractor customers

* Selling quality tube & fittings, carbon steel pipe systems, copper pipe systems, stainless steel pipe systems, plastic pipe systems, drainage systems, pipe support systems, H&V valves and controls, process and industrial valves, and cast iron drainage

* Ledger responsibility circa £10m (largest account worth £5m+, smallest £500,000

* Managing relationships with manufacturers to ensure the best possible commercial deals

* Managing all pricing enquiries

* Liaising with internal and marketing teams

The ideal applicant will be a Key Account Manager - Plumbing Heating & Drainage with:

* Must have a proven track record in account management, preferably key account management

* Construction industry background

* Plumbing, heating, drainage product background preferred

* Open to electrical sales backgrounds

* Ideally sold to mechanical services contractors, plumbing contractors, heating contractors or drainage contractors

* Likable and autonomous in nature

* Excellent communication skills

* Must have high energy levels, be committed and motivated to succeed

* Presentable with strong presentation skills
