Key Responsibilities:

As a Part-Qualified Accountant, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT submissions.
• Prepare annual and management accounts in compliance with UK GAAP standards and handle corporation tax returns.
• Review VAT returns, balance sheet controls, and ensure statutory filings are completed on time.
• Liaise with HMRC on client communications and tax-related issues, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Lead tax investigations and manage communication between clients and HMRC, if required.
• Keep up-to-date with accounting and tax regulations and provide insightful reports to clients.
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

• Be part-qualified in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA / hold a relevant degree or have at least 2 years of practice experience.
• Be proficient in MS Word and Excel (training will be provided if required).
• Have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be confident and approachable, with a friendly phone manner.
