HSEQ Assistant

Location: Cirencester or Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Hours: Fulltime (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday) Permanent - Hybrid

Our client is seeking an HSEQ Assistant to handle daily administrative tasks, provide practical support and be the first point of contract to the team regarding any HSEQ queries.

Key Responsibilities of an HSEQ Assistant:

Manage daily administration and provide practical support for HSEQ matters.

*

Oversee the HSEQ inbox and direct the team to relevant information.

*

Provide excellent client care to both internal and external clients.

*

Assist with weekly audits and investigations.

*

Overseeing office related H&S, including collecting data for Accidents and Incidents.

*

Conduct PPE and DSE checks.

*

Taking minutes from H&S Forums.

*

Assist with the management of controlled documents.

*

Provide a high-level team service to the wider Team as part of Business Support Team.

*

Ensure the success, health, safety, and wellbeing of team members by addressing HSEQ admin tasks, queries, and projects effectively.

Key Skills of an HSEQ Assistant:

*

GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).

*

Confidence with the Microsoft Office suite.

*

Experience with Health & Safety, Environment, and/or Quality (ideally all these areas).

*

An understanding of Health and Safety Legislation

*

Positive, self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and reactive attitude.
