We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our hotel. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order, and that any maintenance issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, including managing staff schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring that all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
- Managing the hotel's energy usage and implementing energy-saving measures where possible.
- Ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Managing relationships with external contractors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Managing the hotel's budget for maintenance and repair work.
- Conducting regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment to identify any maintenance issues and ensure that they are addressed promptly.
- Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work, including expenses, work completed, and parts used.
- Providing reports to senior management on the status of maintenance work and any issues that may arise.
- Assisting with the recruitment, training, and development of maintenance staff.

Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a maintenance management role in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong technical skills and a good understanding of building and facility systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
