About the Role:

We are seeking highly knowledgeable and experienced specialists across various energy generation types to support in evaluating and substantiating claims for incurred costs related to system resilience. The specialists will provide consultancy on an as-needed basis and play a key role in supporting financial claims related to generation resilience, ensuring that projects can claim appropriate funding.

This role is ideal for those who are experts in their specific generation types, with a deep understanding of operations, economics, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise: Provide expert knowledge on the operations, economics, and regulatory framework within your assigned generation type.
Claims Support: Assist in validating claims related to incurred costs, system resilience, and compliance with funding programs.
Industry Insight: Stay up to date with relevant policies, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that impact your specific energy sector.
Ad-hoc Consultancy: Offer specialized consulting services as required by the company, providing clear, data-backed insights on system performance, operational risks, and potential areas for funding.
Cost Evaluation: Review and evaluate generation Capex costs that may qualify for claims related to system resilience.
Report Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed technical and financial reports to support the claims process.
Collaboration: Work closely with legal, financial, and technical teams to ensure accurate and compliant claims.
Requirements:
Proven Expertise: At least 5-10 years of experience working within the specific generation sector (e.g., wind, solar, gas turbines, etc.).
Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of plant operations, efficiency, and challenges in system resilience.
Economic Insight: Strong grasp of economic drivers in the energy sector, including market pricing, maintenance costs, Opex and Capex.
Regulatory Understanding: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and funding programs that support system resilience.
