Business Studies Teacher – Secondary School – Ilford– Part Time
An “Outstanding” school in Redbridge is looking to appoint a Business Studies teacher to join a successful department. The Business Studies curriculum follows the GCSE qualification and has access to large computer suites. Experience of GCSE would be extremely beneficial to this role and they would welcome ECTs if they have robust experience.
The role will be Monday – Wednesday teaching across KS4/KS5
The role requires QTS
Business Studies Teacher - Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will:
- Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning
- Understand the importance of high expectations and equality of access for all students, and of being a tutor
- Have knowledge of Business Studies in the National Curriculum requirements at GCSE
- Be able to create a motivating and safe learning environment for all students
- Be able to communicate positively with parents, carers and other external agencies where necessary
