I am recruiting on behalf of a client, a highly regarded and growing construction company, for the role of Estimator. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join a dynamic team, contributing to the production of accurate and competitive priced tenders, ensuring continued business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
 
·Tender Preparation: Inspect tender documentation, analyse requirements, and produce detailed "take-offs" and Bills of Quantities. Develop accurate pricing based on material and subcontractor quotes.
·Budgeting and Cost Planning: Collaborate with teams to create precise budget estimates and cost plans.
·Collaboration: Work with the pre-construction team to assess build-ups, propose construction methods, and determine project preliminaries.
·Client Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with clients and professionals, fostering further tender opportunities.
·Handover and Reviews: Participate in project handovers and tender review meetings, ensuring comprehensive documentation and smooth transitions.
·Meetings: Represent the company in pre-tender and post-tender meetings, providing cost analysis and value engineering insights as required.
 
What We're Looking For:
 
·Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with expertise in both traditional and design-and-build contracts.
·Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate pricing and tender submissions under tight deadlines.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and external professionals.
·Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
·Ability to lead and contribute to meetings, both internally and with clients.
