Due to our increasing workload in the defence and automotive sectors, we are looking to recruit a senior SMT Team Leader

The main duties include the responsibility for the following:

* Supervise the setup and operation of surface mount pick and place machines. Europlacer experience preferred, but not essential

* Setup and operation of automatic Speedprint and DEK stencil printers.

* Setup and operation of mass reflow ovens

* Perform manual component placement and inspection.

* Perform routine machine maintenance.

* Perform detailed quality inspection of populated circuit boards.

The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills & qualifications:

* In depth knowledge of PCB assembly, both SMT and Conventional

* Minimum of five years' experience operating SMT Equipment in fast paced environment. Europlacer experience is a plus.

* Capable of working to IPC-610 Class 3 standards

* Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and other customer data

* Computer literate with a good level of English

* Exceptional attention to detail

* Strong communication skills both oral and written

* Knowledge of AOI systems - Desirable

* Rework Skills - Desirable

* IPC-A-610 accreditation -Desirable
