A leading organisation within the construction manufacturing sector are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative to join their team on a day shift basis. This vacancy is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys leading from the front and maintaining high operational standards.

* FLT licence desirable but not essential

Role Overview:

* Supervise and support a small warehouse team to ensure smooth, timely daily workflow

* Oversee unloading and storage of goods, ensuring accurate intake and inventory handling

* Maintain a well-organised, safe workspace in alignment with internal safety standards

* Carry out product quality inspections and address minor issues (e.g. buffing or surface checks)

* Complete and manage daily handover documentation and communicate with relevant teams

* Address client-related queries when necessary and update internal order systems

* Step in for delivery driving when needed, using 3.5t vans such as Transits or Sprinters

What We're Looking For:

* Previous experience leading or coordinating in a warehouse/logistics setting

* Confident understanding of stock flow, safety processes, and warehouse best practices

* Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a 3.5t vehicle

* Willingness to provide cover for other shifts as needed (e.g. holidays, absences)

* Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability

* Experience working with business systems (Oracle or similar ERP preferred)

* Forklift licence is a bonus but not a dealbreaker
