We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Supervisor to our clients well-established team at their site on the outskirts of Newmarket.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Outskirts of Newmarket

Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a talented team of production workers.
Ensure that all production processes are carried out effectively and efficiently, meeting quality standards and production targets.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for everyone in the production team.
Coordinate with other departments such as planning, engineering, and quality assurance to optimise production workflows.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development.
Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the materials management team to ensure availability of necessary resources for production activities.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, minimise waste, and reduce costs.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the production process.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a supervisory role in a Production environment.
Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
Someone who can motivate and manage a team effectively on a day to day basis.
A problem solver with ability to investigate any issues.
Brilliant communication skills.
