My client is looking for an Accountant due to expansion.

My client are a rapidly growing firm of Chartered Certified Accountants known for their innovation, dynamic approach, and commitment to excellence. They are looking to recruit an Accountant, preferably ACCA/ACA qualified but will consider qualified by experience, at their Lancaster office.

They provide accounts, taxation and advisory services to businesses across the entire UK from small sole traders to large multi-million pound companies, across a variety of sectors. They pride themselves on providing exceptional service and personal, pro-active advice.

Role Overview

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of clients and tasks. They need someone with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, assist with servicing a portfolio of clients with minimal hand-holding as well as building towards leading a small team whilst reporting directly to the MD.

You will be required to provide the following core services to clients:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports

• Tax compliance and advisory

• Advisory services such as business growth and reporting

Experience in an accountancy practice is essential, as well using Xero and other digital tools.

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• accounting: 5 years (required)

Location: Lancaster

Salary: £31k-£40k DOE
