Quality / CMM Engineer required. Our client is a manufacturer of specialist cast parts for the automotive industry. Due to the ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality / CMM Engineer to join their team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the scanning of parts using equipment handheld 3D Scanning Ball equipment.

Quality / CMM Engineer Position Overview

Utilising 3D wireless handheld scanning equipment for inspection purposes
Engaging in quality related issues to ensure corrective actions
Complying to ISO16949 & 9001 standards
An understanding of measuring software is desirable
Formulating 8D documents on issues

Quality / CMM Engineer Position Requirements

Previous experience in a Quality Technician role or similar
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Based in a commutable distance of Coventry
Experience working with Faro Arm, 3D Scanning or CMM equipment
Qualifications within manufacturing / engineering is desirable but not essential

Quality / CMM Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £30,000 - £37,000
Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00. Friday 07:00 - 11:00
33 days holiday, including bank holidays
