Description

As the HSE Manager your responsibilities will be;

Develop and implement the company's health, safety and environmental policies.
Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Engage with the staff across the site to build a positive safety culture and gain buy in.
Provide staff training on health, safety and environmental practices.
Conduct Toolbox talks, Site walk arounds, and adopt a hands on approach to HSE.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Liaise with external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legislation.
Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Prepare detailed reports on HSE performance.
Evaluate and update emergency response procedures as neededProfile

A successful HSE Manager should have:

A strong educational background in Manufacturing, Warehousing or Logistics
Proven experience in a similar role within a similar sector
NEBOSH OR IOSH certificate is desirable
An in-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and procedures
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards risk managementJob Offer
