We are seeking a skilled and driven Data Engineer to join our client's team in the consulting industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and integration solutions to support our client's analytical and business intelligence initiatives. Collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless data flow, enhancing data accessibility, and transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve our client's accounting services. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes, along with expertise in cloud-based data solutions and programming languages.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines to enhance data availability and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure efficient integration across systems.
- Optimize data storage solutions while implementing best practices for security and performance.
- Monitor and improve data quality, addressing any inconsistencies or performance bottlenecks.
- Leverage cloud technologies to design and deploy efficient, cost-effective data solutions.
- Document data architecture, workflows, and processes to ensure maintainability and transparency.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools, frameworks, and programming languages like Python.
- Proficiency in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
