Our client based in Basildon is looking for an experienced Forklift Operative (with a valid counterbalance forklift licence) to join their logistics team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, good communication and numeracy skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Container stuffing and unloading (potentially handball at times)
Loading and offloading trailers
Labelling incoming and outgoing goods
Understanding of freight management
Maintaining a good work ethic and teamwork
Ensuring safety at all times
Some overtime may be requiredRequirements:

Valid counterbalance forklift licence with 2 years of practical experience for insurance purposes
Previous warehouse experience
Good communication and numeracy skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Some heavy lifting requiredWorking Hours:

8am to 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday
