Rate of Pay: £13.75 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading gas distribution company based in Bury St Edmunds for a Yard Operator to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering stability and progression for the right candidate after an initial 6-month period.

The Role:

As a Yard Operator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the depot, ensuring efficient yard operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Loading and unloading gas cylinders safely
Organising and maintaining yard stock
Operating forklift (training provided if required)
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Assisting with general warehouse duties

What We're Looking For:

Commitment - You're looking for a long-term role and are willing to prove yourself.
Excellent timekeeping - Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Can-do attitude - You're proactive, willing to learn, and happy to take on varied tasks.
Physical fitness - The role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weathers.
Forklift experience (preferred but not essential) - Training can be provided.
