Salary: £40000 - £45000/annum negotiable depending on experience

Established in 2001, Connect it Utility Services is a leading provider of multi-utility connections in the UK. With a commitment to delivering excellence in utility services, we specialize in electric, water and gas infrastructure for residential, commercial, and industrial developments as well as projects for network operators and commercial EV charging installs. Our comprehensive services cover everything from design to installation, ensuring reliable utility connections for our clients nationwide.

To help support our successful growth, we're looking to expand our EV charging teams by recruiting a Project Manager focussed on delivery of EV charging infrastructure works.

You will take ownership, control and responsibility for the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of new EV charging hubs across the country.

Key skills:

* Ensuring that projects are delivered to the satisfaction of the customer, are fit for purpose and to budget within allotted timescales whilst maintaining quality controls throughout each stage of the project life cycle.

* Meet or exceed company expectations for health & safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and programme performance.

* Develop and maintain effective working relationships, gaining acceptance to proposals and changes.

* Take responsibility for preparing all relevant documentation to enable works to be delivered in a controlled manner at all stages both on and off site.

* Ensure effective handover of projects to ensure contractual obligations are met and full commercial entitlement is achieved.

* Identify the correct resources and assign responsibilities to ensure efficient use of labour.

* Revise plans as necessary in accordance with the needs of the job.

* Ensure that relations with the client/customer and all stakeholders in the project are maintained and managed.

* Apply the client's procedures/methodology where necessary and enforce project standards.

* Minimise exposure to risk on the project.

Qualifications and experience:

* Must have relevant skills and experience, e.g. Power / electrical experience, commercial EV charging points, civils and site management.

* Computer literate with ability to work on site inputting data into a tablet and managing emails, reviewing spreadsheets and other documents.

* Able to lead teams with a variety of abilities and communicate constructively with people at all levels.

* A clear thinker with determination, energy, and enthusiasm for their working environment with good planning and organisational skills.

* Able to manage multiple projects effectively and escalate upwards where necessary.

* Excellent negotiation, numerical and written communication skills

* Able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude.

* Able to work with ambiguity and able to manage and respond positively to change.

* Good attention to detail with excellent time management skills.

Additional:

* MUST HAVE previously worked alongside EV charging network providers, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) or managed teams delivering commercial electrical install projects.

* NRSWA experience and ideally hold current certification.

* EUSR / SHEA.

* SMSTS / SSSTS.

* First Aid qualified.

* Full UK driving licence.
