About the Role
As a French-Speaking Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient cash flow, supporting the team and liaising directly with the French office. Your goal will be to build strong relationships with clients, maximising payments and minimising overdue debt. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, working with both English and French-speaking clients
- Reduce overdue balances through effective collections and tailored payment plans
- Identify and assess credit risk, escalating potential issues as necessary
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure timely collections
- Build lasting relationships with clients and internal departments to support positive payment outcomes
- Generate and present regular debtor reports, keeping management informed of collections progress
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, contributing fresh ideas to drive efficiency and results
About You
- Fluent in both written and spoken French and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
- Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role, ideally with a focus on high-value accounts
- A proactive and self-motivated individual, able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on building positive client relationships
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- A collaborative team player, enthusiastic about contributing to team success
