About the role:

We're thrilled to announce an opening for a SEN-TA - Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist at our wonderful 2-form entry school in Brent, London. As an SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with ASD, helping them navigate their educational journey with confidence and success. Your day-to-day will involve working closely with the teaching staff to provide tailored support, developing individualised learning plans, and implementing strategies that cater to the unique needs of each student. You'll be a vital part of a team that is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Application Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Experience working in a similar role or with children with SEN in a primary school setting.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to supporting students with diverse needs.

• Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASD, ensuring they have access to a rich and fulfilling learning experience.

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized learning plans tailored to each student's specific needs.

• Work closely with teachers to adapt classroom materials and activities to support the learning of students with ASD.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social and academic growth for all students.
