Graduate Finance Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well established and highly respected Huntingdon employer, currently looking for a career minded and progressive Finance Assistant to join their finance team of 13.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will cover a range of transactional and analytical tasks, including assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts, assisting with audit queries, assisting with budget and spend analysis, and producing a number of monthly reports alongside the wider team.

This client is looking for an enthusiastic individual with an enquiring and curious mind.  They would like candidates to have 1-2 years transactional accounts experience and a basic understanding of accounting processes, however will also consider recent graduates looking for a first accounting position. Good Excel skills and actively studying for an accounting qualification would be advantageous.
