Full time office-based role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts payable assistant for one of our clients based in the Kingston upon Thames area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Finance Director you will be working as part of small friendly team in the finance department, you will be responsible on boarding new suppliers.
• Entering supplier invoices into the system and emailing the invoices for approval.
• Entering codes and Purchase orders on the system
• Assisting the finance team with further finance duties as required

Person Specification:

• Previous experience as an accounts payable assistant or accounts payable administrator is essential.
• Working Knowledge of Sage, Oracle Net Suite will be a distinct advantage; however x-training can be provided.
• Good working knowledge of accounting systems is essential i.e. Sage
• Numerate with a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative, organise and prioritise workload
• A can do, positive approach to work
• A flexible team player who enjoys working as part of small team.
• Excellent communication skills
• Lives in or within an easy commutable distance of the Kingston area.
