We are seeking to add to our brilliant team to support our significant multiyear investment and expansion plans – building upon our strong ethos of patient safety, high clinical standards, robust team support, and sector-leading dynamism.The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) will be based at one of the 4 sites working alongside a small team of clinicians to provide medical assessments.RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS)Healthcare assistant Band 2 and/or Band 3Previous experience in an outpatient/occupational healthcare setting preferableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for medical examinationMeasure and record preliminary health checks (e.g. Blood Pressure, Temperature, Pulse, Urinalysis, Peak flow)Prepare and maintain examination rooms ensuring they are clean and well stockedProvide chaperone support where requiredPhlebotomy preferred but training will be provided if necessaryEnsure preliminary health checks are recorded utilising internal IT systemsAdhere to relevant healthcare policies and proceduresMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection regulationsMaintain infection control guidelines to ensure a safe environmentContact Ella Neate for Exmouth (CTCRM Lympstone) and Cardiff (HMS Cambria)Email:
