Our client is a pigment and additives manufacturer and distributor. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their UK sales team and cover the Southern region of the UK. This is a hybrid position where you would be required to visit the office located in the Midlands weekly.

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and increasing revenue within their territory. The Account Manager will be providing a single point of contact for all sales and technical related matters and ensuring continued sales growth of the company's portfolio.

Account Manager Responsibilities:
• Manage existing Customers as primary interface for all customer needs.
• Identify new customer / product relationships.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the company's products and services according to customer requirements and objectives.
• Feedback on account status and progress throughout the year.
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
• High amount of travel required within assigned UK territory.

Account Manager Candidate profile:
• Background in the pigments and additives or related industries is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in technical/scientific subject.
• Proven work experience in sales.
• Self-starter with a competitive drive for success.

In return, our client is offering a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience with a bonus, company car, pension & 26 days holidays for this Account Manager position.
