Position: Estimator (Fit-Out Projects)

Reports to: Senior Estimator/Pre-Construction Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

* Project Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fit-out projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.

* Tendering Process: Lead the preparation and submission of tenders for fit-out projects, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted within deadlines.

* Cost Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to determine requirements and develop comprehensive cost plans.

* Supplier and Subcontractor Liaison: Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate favorable terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

* Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and maintained within agreed parameters.

* Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the estimation process and provide solutions to mitigate them.

* Value Engineering: Offer cost-saving solutions and alternatives without compromising on quality or performance.

* Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry best practices related to fit-out projects.

* Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive project estimates.

* Reporting: Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications and Skills

* Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on fit-out projects
