Excellent opportunity to join a leading and very successful global tech company and support German speaking customers and distributors

Location
Hybrid role.

Office location is the South West London area (3 days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - remote working for Monday and Friday )

Languages
Fluency or very good working knowledge of German is essential

Job responsibilities of the German speaking Technical Support Specialist
Your main responsibility will be to offer 1st Line technical support to German speaking customers and will include the following responsibilities:

* Handle technical issues and product questions by email, live chat or social media from German speaking distributors, resellers and end users

* Resolve customer queries by gathering appropriate information from the customer, then researching and resolving the issue

* Pro-actively maintaining knowledge and updating yourself on all products and competitor's hardware/software products. Initial and on-going training will be provided as necessary.

* Develop and maintain correspondence and other technical support records

* Handle customer's complaints with a strong focus on customer's satisfaction and a view to anticipate them

* Visit customers from time to time when necessary

The successful candidate background, experiences and skills

* Fluency or very good working knowledge of German

* Experience in IT support, helpdesk or customer service is preferred

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to work to targets and deadlines

* Be highly organised

Salary, benefits & working hours

£27,500 - £29,500 + bonus (typically up to 20% of base salary paid quarterly).
