Meridian Business Support is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Education and Development Team as a Clinical Educator. This role is vital in supporting and nurturing our staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care. While the position is primarily based in Cheadle, there will be a need for travel across sites to deliver training.

Position Details:

Role: Clinical Educator
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Salary £38241Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a role model for excellence in palliative care, helping staff acquire essential skills and knowledge to foster their personal and professional growth.
Maintain professional registration and adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
Plan, organise, deliver, and evaluate education and training programs for multi-professional and multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct clinical education and work-based training programs focused on quality patient care, such as a 3-day Palliative Care Course.
Provide training to clinical staff and proactively identify ongoing educational needs.
Manage the LMS system and maintain clinical training records.
Collaborate with others to develop staff clinical competencies.
Stay updated on local, regional, and national policies and priorities.
Support students during clinical placements.
Build and maintain effective communication networks within Greater Manchester (GM) to represent the Education and Development team at various internal and external meetings.Experience Required: The successful candidate will be able to:

Deliver training to both internal and external groups of varying sizes.
Interpret and apply national and local policy drivers within the political context.
Manage time effectively to balance clinical education with administrative duties.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of stakeholders.
Work independently and as part of a team, using their initiative.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Teams).Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or an Allied Health Professional with current professional registration.
Relevant professional degree (or equivalent) with evidence of continuing professional development in palliative care.
Experience in teaching both practical and theoretical concepts to clinical and non-clinical staff in various settings.
Thorough understanding of end-of-life care, NICE supportive and palliative care guidance, and other relevant service frameworks.
Ability to travel independently as cross-site and local travel will be necessary.Benefits:
