What you'll do
Notting Hill Genesis, one of London's largest housing associations, are looking for a highly organised, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Repairs Operations Lead (Disrepair) to provide oversight and management of all aspects of disrepair projects. The role requires a combination of technical skills, strong communication, and a commitment to high property and resident standards. You must be able to effectively lead a large team of property professionals to identify, assess and resolve disrepair issues.

You will be responsible to the Disrepair portfolio, directly in charge of the pipeline of new cases and reducing the number of open claims.

How you'll do it
You will lead the Disrepair service, reporting directly into the Head of Repair Operations and will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and managing all aspects of disrepair issues within our portfolio. Your focus will be on managing a team of professionals to achieve high quality service delivery, optimising operational processes, and driving customer satisfaction. You will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across NHG and externally to drive improvements and offer a first-class service to our customers.

Essential

Experience in managing a high-performing, team in the repairs/disrepair environment
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in contractor management
Results focused and experience of implementing and embedding work plans to drive performance
Good understanding of the relevant legislation, statutory and regulatory requirements
A strategic thinker with experience of process improvement within a complex team
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with multiple teams at all levels
Ability to analyse and present data to Senior LeadershipDesired

Relevant building management qualification
DEA/FRA assessor trained
Recognised HND technical qualification eg. building surveying or member CIOB
