We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to join a dynamic team, responsible for delivering customer service excellence in line with contractual requirements. This role involves dealing with a customer face to face, providing first class service to their queries and trying to resolve their concerns/ issues the best possible way. 

Day to Day of the role:
  • Enter accurate data into the shipping systems.
  • Organise diplomatic consignments, ensuring strict compliance with all required paperwork, including customs processes and invoicing.
  • Review customer bookings and clearance instructions, ensuring they are understood and followed.
  • Provide relevant service providers with the required information for successful service delivery.
  • Communicate with operations to ensure the accuracy of consignment delivery.
  • Process shipments using third-party operating systems.
  • Comply with all relevant work and safety legislation, standards, and organisational procedures.
  • Research and provide competitive quotations.
  • Provide customer reports where required.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams for error-free handling of diplomatic material.
  • Support accompanied diplomatic shipments out of hours.
  • Handle customer complaints, issues, and operational irregularities through CRM tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 Including Maths and English.
  • Up to 3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry or logistics.
  • Security clearance will be essential.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Competent in IT skills, Word, Excel, and customs systems.
Benefits:
  • 37 ½ hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 33 days holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays.
  • Life Assurance 4 x salary following successful completion of probationary period, subject to inclusion in the GPP.
