This is a fabulous opportunity to start a career as a Buyer within in a very successful family run, well-established organisation that positively encourages career development.

Our client is a very successful and well established retailer with over 300 stores nationwide. Due to significant growth they are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate to join their Buying Team and start their career as a Purchaser/Buyer.

You'll be working as part of a dynamic team of established Buyers

Daily responsibilities will include:

* Attending and contributing to supplier meetings

* Range reviews, data tracking and price comparisons.

* Keeping accurate records, setting up new lines, demand planning, transferring stock and answering calls and enquiries

The successful candidate will be:

* An excellent communicator who is commercially astute and confident in dealing with people at all levels

* Strong organisational skills and able make quick decisions and to work to deadlines

* Good numeracy skills as you will be forecasting and calculating margins

If you have a confident and "can do" attitude and eager to start a career as a Buyer, as well as being excellent with all Microsoft packages and generally good at picking up systems and processes, although full training will be given
