OPPORTUNITY

Working within Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric works delivering Engineering excellence nationally. Well established Facilities Management expert whose Engineering division is forever growing providing the current need for an experienced Clerk of Works.

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Issuing permits for high-risk activities such as working at height, ground disturbance, hot works etc..
• Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements providing comments
• Liaising with contractors and work owners.
• Creating permits on the electronic permit system.
• Writing Risk Assessments / Method Statements for the Engineering team.
• Daily work safety audits..
• Working with a team of 2 other control of works

REQUIRED

• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations / guidance for working at heights, hot works, lifting operations etc
• IOSH passed within the last 2 years
• Minimum of 3 years working within Facilities Management
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and others

Preferred: IPAF / PASMA
