Location: Scopwick, Lincolnshire

An opportunity has arisen within Stonegate Agriculture as a Farm Manager for one of our large rural based poultry farms in Lincolnshire. As Farm Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, supervising staff, managing inventory and ordering, animal welfare, compliance, and liaising with external stakeholders such as vets, auditors, suppliers.

As a purely free-range and organic producer, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of welfare and seeking someone who shares our vision.

This position is open to experienced farm managers as well as those with proven experience on laying farms who are eager to progress into management.

Established in 1926 and under new ownership since 2016, we have grown into one the largest free-range and organic egg producers within the UK.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Manage daily operations of the farm, including hands-on involvement in production activities.

* Supervise and support a team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company policies.

* Authorise and process timesheets, manage working hours, and conduct performance reviews.

* Lead team meetings and organise training sessions on biosecurity, welfare, and health & safety.

* Oversee stock management, ordering supplies, and cost control.

* Implement company policies and drive continuous improvement projects

Person Specification:

* Able to display our company values: Respect, Aspire, Courage, One Team, Diversity

* Strong planning and organisational skills

* Good level of numeracy skills

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Proven leadership/ management ability

* Self-starter

Qualifications / Experience:

* At least 2 years' experience within a comparable environment

* Knowledge of livestock breeding operations and biosecurity.

* Good maintenance skills
