Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their service in Walsall for a temporary contract initially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and follow-up reviews of care packages post-hospital discharge.
• Perform Occupational Therapy assessments using a strength-based approach, including moving and handling and single-handed care assessments.
• Promote independence for individuals at home.
• Assess, recommend, and provide equipment, assistive technology, and community resources.
• Identify and plan for long-term support needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
