Sliding Head CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

Location: Tipton, West Midlands
Salary: £17 - £18 p/h
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 2pm Friday.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Sliding Head CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to operate and program Citizen machinery with working knowledge of CNC Wizard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, with specific expertise in sliding head lathes.

Key Responsibilities:
Program, set, and operate Citizen sliding head CNC machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator, specifically with sliding head lathes.
Proficiency in programming and operating Citizen machinery. CNC Wizard and Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
