Fast growing professional consultancy business based in the Knutsford area requires an Assistant Accountant. Reporting to the Group Accountant this is a newly created role within a business that is a truly exciting period of growth. The role will offer development for the right person and is ideally looking for someone who is AAT/Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA

Duties of the role will include;

• Group Reporting
• Handling all aspects of the P&L and Balance Sheet
• Preparation of month end trial balance
• Preparing and posting journals, prepayments and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with the Purchase ledger
• Assisting with the Sales ledger
• Cashbook management
• Weekly cash forecast to senior management
• Preparation of budgets, working with the Group Accountant and FD

The right candidate for the role will have experience in the above and be looking for a role that will support someone studying and develop skills.

I am very much looking for a self-starter who is process driven and technically strong.
