We are seeking an Accounts Assistant for a temp to perm basis within our Accounting & Finance department. The role requires a meticulous individual with an aptitude for numbers and a keen interest in the FMCG industry.

Description

• Purchase ledger and Sales ledger responsibilities
• Forecast revenue and expenses
• Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed
• Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare budget reports
• Ensure all financial operations comply with governmental rules and regulations
• Help with tax audits and tax returns
• Support the Accounting & Finance department by completing administrative tasks as required

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
