Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £13.50 - £18.00 Per Hour, Depending on Experience. (£26,676 - £35,568 Per Annum).

Location: Cramlington NE23.

Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift (38 Hours Per Week).

About The Role:

The Manual Machinist is responsible for machining white metal components parts in accordance with customer specification in line with company standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:

* Conventional turning to produce high precision parts to customer specifications

* Able to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings

* Ability to use measuring equipment

* Correctly position the component into the machine, using lifting aids as required

* Carry out the machining in accordance to the components route card and technical drawing

* Check your own quality as you work, measuring first-offs before proceeding with any additional machining with hand measuring equipment such as venires and micrometres

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous turning experience is essential

* Milling experience is beneficial

* Educated to Engineering Apprentice level or equivalent is essential

* Previous experience within the manufacturing industry is essential

* Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings is essential

* Manual Handling Training and overhead crane experience is essential

* Good written and oral skills

* Must have proven team-working skills
