Aspire Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Recruitment and Placement Consultant to join our established team. We are seeking to grow Aspire (current turnover circa £5m) and the successful candidate must have experience and a track record in business development and winning new employer accounts. The role will deliver an effective 360 recruitment service to customers across Manchester, ensuring high levels of quality and helping to establish Aspire Recruitment as the staffing solution provider of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

* Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract new business opportunities.

* Promote Aspires services to employers to establish a solid employer base.

* Secure employer visits to generate vacancy opportunities.

* Provide a consultative service to employers and candidates and refer to relevant services within the group where appropriate to maximise income.

* Maximise candidate attraction via various resources to include advertising vacancies, liaising with internal and external partners.

* Develop and maintain effective relationships with key partners and agencies in order to generate a flow of appropriate candidates and generate new business.

* To maximise commercial exposure through the effective use of social media and any other technology-based platforms available to us.

* Deliver exceptional customer service to employers.

About you:

* Experience in sales and business development is essential.

* Over 12 month's sales experience in any capacity.

* A proven ability of winning new business in a commercial environment.

* Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with customers.

* Knowledge of employment legislation as applied to recruitment agencies (eligibility to work, AWR, IR35 etc.).

* Experience of quality standards and systems relating to the recruitment industry.

* Motivated and passionate with the drive to succeed.

Requirements:

* Proven success in new business development.

* Excellent presentation skills (and use of software to deliver this).

* Thorough understanding of both temporary and permanent recruitment processes.

* To be able to work within a fast paced, target driven environment.

* Able to assimilate and analyse information quickly and accurately and to work to deadlines.

* Flexible approach to work including willingness to travel and work occasional unsociable hours, including weekends.

* Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets, diary management and email.

* Ability to use digital channels to promote the service. This includes the usage of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other relevant social media channels.
