Are you an organised, proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills? We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a busy depot team, supporting the smooth running of a key contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys a variety of administrative tasks.

The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the operational team, taking ownership of various admin tasks to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Key responsibilities include:

* Material Orders: Ordering specific materials (e.g., signs) for the operational teams.

* Works Pack Preparation: Organising and preparing documentation for projects.

* Office Coordination: Placing stationery orders, conducting office safety checks, and handling deliveries.

* Subcontractor Support: Raising subcontract task orders and processing applications for payment.

* Document Management: Logging incoming post, scanning documents, and ensuring accurate data entry (e.g., waste tickets, timesheets).

* Administrative Support: Providing general admin and coordination duties, ensuring resilience in all processes.

This role is based in the office and will suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of operations.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

* IT Proficiency: Confidence in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a willingness to learn new systems.

* Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

* Organisational Skills: Ability to manage records, archive information logically, and maintain processes.

* Teamwork & Collaboration: A team player who can engage, guide, and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
