I am currently recruiting on behalf of our key client who are working on one of the biggest and most prestigious civil engineering projects based in West Midlands.

They are searching for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to add to their commercial team. Preferably from a Civil Engineering background, working for a Main Contractor or a Large Sub-Contractor.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveyoring

* A membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB

* Must experience in NEC form of contract.

Key Responsibilities:

* Due to the size of the project you will managing a specific section of the scheme

* Lead risk and opportunity management

* Oversee procurement, applications for payment, and invoicing

* Manage cost control, accounting, and reporting

* Collaborate to implement change control and manage compensation events

* Engage cross-functionally to deliver optimal project outcomes
