An exciting opportunity in a small tax team reporting to the Head of Tax for a VAT Manager to take ownership for indirect tax. The process is outsourced and so you will be managing advisors as well as internal processes. This is a proactive role with lots of opportunity to identify process improvements and using your indirect tax knowledge to add value to the business

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the VAT compliance process and VAT journals for the UK Group
• Advising the business on any legislative changes and the impact on the business and implement any necessary changes or solutions.
• Provide VAT technical expertise on projects and corporate transactions to ensure VAT recovery is optimised.
• Support Tax Team with Tax Risk and Governance, including annual SAO and HMRC Business Risk Reviews, and dealing with HMRC enquiries

This is an exiting role where you can make a substantial difference to the business and tax team. You will need strong UK indirect tax knowledge and operating at AM or Manager level, experience or knowledge of the real estate sector would be advantageous. Please apply now for more information.
