Competitive Salary: £32,000 - 37,500 (£15.38 - £18 per hour) depending on experience

About the role:

As an HGV Technician in our busy workshop, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and reliability of heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery. You'll engage in a variety of hands-on tasks, including inspections, repairs, and servicing, and you'll have the rewarding experience of passing on your skills to our dedicated apprentice

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Carrying out trailer inspections and attending breakdowns.
Preparing vehicles for MOT.
Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on vehicles and plant machinery.
Providing vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

About You:

You are a motivated HGV Technician with a passion for working collaboratively within a small team. Your hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure high-quality workmanship in every task. With an NVQ Level 3 or proven experience under your belt, you are excited about the opportunity to teach and mentor our apprentice, fostering their growth in the trade. As a problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, you appreciate the value of teamwork and communication in achieving common goals.Please note the client is located away from public transport, so a personal vehicle is essential for commuting.
