About the Company

The company is a leading charity specialising in supporting people with learning and autistic disabilities. We are looking for a dedicated H&S Officer to join our team and manage the day-to-day health and safety of a number of sites across north-west London.

Job Summary

The H&S Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the Health and Safety of the sites are kept to the highest standard, promoting a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for all employees and clients. This role will involve organising Risk Assessments and Fire Assessments.

Key Responsibilities

* To assist the managers with H&S audits and inspections of all the various locations both in London and Manchester, conducting risk assessments, reviewing fire documents, fire arrangements, and all other health and safety compliance documents.

* To assist in the collation and monitoring of accident and near-miss data.

* To support accident and near-miss investigations, across sites.

* To ensure reporting compliance is adhered to, learning opportunities are identified and preventative action is taken.

* To assist managers in implementing all security measures on the various sites.

* Help managers with emergency preparedness, conduct regular drills and ensure all employees and members are familiar with emergency protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

* Ideally have at-least 2+ Years experience in a similar role.

* Having an IOSH, COSHH, Legionella or Fire Safety is highly desirable.

* Must have your own vehicle and Full UK Driving License
