A popular college located in North West London is interested in securing a Geography teacher starting January 2024!

The ideal Geography teacher will be qualified, have a degree related to Geography and a solid teaching background.

As a Geography teacher, you will be hard-working, a team player and be someone who engages with students and staff. The school is interested in appointing a Geography teacher to join a thriving and dynamic department in ASAP

This Geography teacher teaching post will be temporary to permanent and will become permanent dependant on performance/application starting ASAP

You will be teaching Geography following the Eduqas B specification.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND GEOGRAPHY TEACHER CONTRACT:

Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment

This is a full-time position including planning and marking
During the Summer Term all Year 10 GCSE Geography students visit Dorset, to practise the skills and to collect the data required to support their Unit
Interviewing ASAPTHE RIGHT GEOGRAPHY TEACHER WILL BE:

Hold a BA and PGCE in Geography
Confident with teaching GCSE Geography
Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Available ASAPTHE SUCCESSFUL GEOGRAPHY TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
*Exceptional degree and GCSEs
*UK classroom teaching experience
*Eligibility to work in the UK
*Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
*A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
*Salary paid to scale - teachers' pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependant on experience
