Motor Crime Defence Solicitor
Horwich Farrelly’s Casualty department is a dynamic and fast growing team. We act for fleet and personal lines policy holders, insurers, brokers and corporate clients in all types of defence motor work from fatal accident - dangerous driving, careless driving cases to routine motoring offences in either the Magistrates Court or Crown Court.
It is an exciting time to join our Casualty team as the department continues to grow and transform. We have ambitious plans to grow the department and has a highly experienced team. Known as experts in their field the team also have other lines of expertise in broader criminal and regulatory cases involving accidents at work such as Police led Corporate Manslaughter cases, HSE, EHO prosecutions and other Government regulatory bodies.

What do I need?
You will be a confident motor crime defence solicitor assured in dealing with the whole investigation, evidence gathering and interview process, attending and representing clients at police interviews under caution. You will have experience of advising clients throughout each stage, including also preparation for and attendance at trial or sentencing hearing. You won’t be afraid to question and challenge information and evidence put forward by the other parties in your case, you’ll be quick to form a measured response which highlights your excellent communication skills.
What will you be doing?
You will be working within a team and have a mix of own caseload and assisting partners on other complex cases. Our people pride themselves on making an impact through providing excellence in all aspects of their work and service to our clients.
