Commercial Manager - London

A leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Construction contractor is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee a new £100M+ project in London. This role involves managing all commercial activities on-site and leading a team of 10+ surveyors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the commercial performance of projects from inception to completion

* Maintain commercial control over allocated business units

* Lead cost reviews, manage actions, and ensure accurate reporting

* Mentor and develop the commercial team, driving continuous improvement

* Identify and manage project risks, ensuring best-value solutions

* Ensure timely and accurate CCS reporting

* Drive project completion to maximise commercial advantage

* Review and enhance business processes for greater efficiency

* Provide career guidance and technical development for the team

Experience & Qualifications:

* 10+ years' experience in a commercial role within the construction sector

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally chartered or working towards chartership

* Experience with electrical, mechanical, and general construction scopes

* Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience

* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

* Proven leadership in mentoring and developing commercial teams
