Family office are hring a Financial Controller to join their Family office. This Financial Controller will need technical expertise to bring to this Family office.

We are exclusively working with a well-established family office on their search for a Financial Controller. The business has multiple portfolios, predominately in the property space. This role will have overall responsibility of financial accounting across the group and will be a pivotal hire as the future successor of the Group Finance Director.

Based in beautiful Central London offices on a hybrid basis (3x a week), the business offers a cohesive culture, with a hands-on role; working closely with the board to inform decision making as well as managing all day-to-day accounting operations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ownership of year-end reports and lead the consolidation of management accounts
• Subject Matter expert for all UK Accounting Policies (FRS102)
• Responsible for the preparation of the Group financial statements
• Maintain and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships whilst also providing financial analysis to the board
• Ownership of financial controls including improvements to streamlining all reporting processes
• Key contact for auditors; overseeing the annual audit process

Key skills and experience required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Must come from an audit background
• Technical accounting expert
• Expert user of Netsuite and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
