An innovative investment management company is on the lookout for a couple of skilled Software Developers in Test's (SDET) to join their office in Edinburgh.

A global investment company have recently acquired a product-focused Fintech organisation in Edinburgh, and they're looking to expand their established Development team. They are setting up a cutting-edge tech team in Edinburgh and need two experience Software Developers in Test to help drive things forward. They've got ambitious plans for the next few years so it's an exciting time to join and make your mark.

The role?

As SDET you'll work closely with the Development and QA team helping update their existing automation frameworks whilst also implementing frameworks from scratch and working with other engineers to support feature-based testing. You would be hands-on, helping to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch using Java - with a focus on BDD and TDD.

*Programming experience in either JavaScript, Java, Typescript, Python etc. with focus on test-driven development (TDD) and behaviour driven development (BDD).*Ability to develop Test Automation Frameworks from Scratch.*Strong experience in an agile environment/agile development approach.*Ability to implement CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, Docker).*Experience with REST API's.
